Dragonfly. Handcrafted and repurposed 20p coin

Dragonfly. Handcrafted and repurposed 20p coin

A Romanian folk tale says that the dragonfly was once a horse possessed by the devil. Swedish folklore holds that the devil uses dragonflies to weigh people’s souls. The Norwegian name for dragonflies is Øyenstikker (“eye-poker”)!

However, to balance this darkness ! The Native American tribes believe they represent swiftness and activity, and for the Navajo they symbolize pure water. In Japan they are much loved representing Summer and symbols of courage, strength, and happiness

I have cut this one out of a 20p coin, it took a while and is the perfect symbol of strength, grrrr, and happiness, yay
